Anticipate IFPE 2014
IFPE is the leading international exposition and technical conference dedicated to the integration of fluid power with other technologies for power transmission and motion control applications. Held every three years, IFPE is set for Tuesday, March 4 through Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, USA. IFPE 2014 is co-located with CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014, one of the world’s largest gatherings for the construction industries. IFPE attracts design engineers and other decision-makers from these industries:
- Off-Highway Vehicles (includes construction, mining, forestry, agriculture, lawn and garden, and airport support vehicles)
- Fluid Power/Power Transmission Products, Electrical Machinery, Instruments/Controls
- Material Handling (includes overhead/straddle cranes, industrial trucks, tractors, and stackeras)
- Manufacturing/Production Automation/Machine Tools (includes chemical, petroleum, metal, plastics, and rubber processing)
- Automotive/Commercial Vehicles (includes Class 8 trucks, vocational trucks, and trucks for other applications)
- Engineering Services

- Other Products/Services
IFPE exhibits showcase the latest technologies and innovations in equipment, products and services for fluid power/motion control/power transmission. The show also features product-focused exhibit pavilions and international exhibit pavilions.
Extensive educational programming includes the prestigious National Conference on Fluid Power (NCFP), which emphasizes new technologies and methods related to improved analysis, design, manufacture, and performance of fluid power components and systems for mobile and industrial markets.
IFPE 2014 is Site of International Fluid Power Summit
Meeting Reinforces Show as Global Industry Gathering Place
IFPE 2014 is the site of the 2014 International Fluid Power Summit, a meeting of leaders from fluid power associations across the globe. Show co-owner National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is hosting the event.
The International Fluid Power Summit typically attracts key association leaders from countries including Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. The Summit provides an opportunity for peer-to-peer discussion on a worldwide basis, with the aim of developing strategies that effectively address global challenges facing the fluid power industry.
“NFPA is pleased to host this important event; it’s an opportunity for fluid power professionals to work together to strengthen the worldwide fluid power industry,” stated Eric Lanke, NFPA CEO.
“As a global gathering place for introduction of the newest products and technologies, IFPE is the ideal venue for this prestigious event, and we welcome their participation,” stated Melissa Magestro, IFPE show director.
In conjunction with the Summit, an International Fluid Power Statistics Committee meeting will be held at the show, with a focus on international statistical/data collection programs.
