Marc Mitchell
Associate Publisher

Started working for FPJ: August 2, 2004

Duties: I am responsible for managing the marketing, editing, and also promotional and sales efforts for the Midwest/Northwest regions of the U.S. and International sales.

Favorite Quote: “All I insist on, and nothing else is that you should show the whole world that you are not afraid. Be silent, if you choose; but when it is necessary, speak—and speak in such a way that people will remember you” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This quote resonates with me, as it’s important in this world to stand up for what you believe and say things in either a simple, profound or eloquent way that enables you to be heard.

Kristine Coblitz
Editor

Started working for FPJ: August 1, 2006

Duties: I manage all of the editorial content for the print issue, as well as the e-newsletter, which includes assigning and editing all feature articles; reviewing and editing news, product, and personnel releases; and communicating with our contributors, technical editor, and the IFPS to provide an educational, technical resource for our readers.

Hobbies and Interests: I am a voracious reader of crime and contemporary women’s fiction, as well as nonfiction books on spirituality and creativity. Some of my favorite things include listening to music, suspenseful movies, coffee, and spending time with my husband, two children, and chocolate Labrador puppy.

Favorite Quote: “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” This quote by Walt Disney inspires me to pursue my goals to create a life of joy, passion, and abundance.

Dan Helgerson
Technical Editor

Started working for FPJ: I began submitting articles to the Journal in mid-2008. Then, in 2012, I was asked to become the technical editor.

Duties: I review submitted articles for their technical content to be sure they are accurate and conform to standards appropriate for the IFPS.

Hobbies and Interests: I am convinced that we live in a world that was designed by the Creator and that we have an obligation to be good stewards of the resources available to us. Because my field of work is in fluid power, I spend a lot of my time planning ways in which we can more efficiently transfer energy through fluids.

Favorite Quote: One of my favorites is from Thomas Edison: “I never failed; I just found 10,000 ways it won’t work.” I find this encouraging.

Quynh Vo

Started working for FPJ: August 2008

Duties: My responsibilities include designing the magazine and all related marketing materials and  handling advertising artworks. Updating web content, putting together the digital issue, creating the e-newsletter, and posting on social media are amongst my duties. I also crack a lot of jokes, but I don’t think I’m getting paid to do this.

Hobbies and Interests: Eating, laughing, and watching movies. Marvel Cinematic Universe, anyone? I also love a good book that can make me cry. It’s therapeutic, and to my amusement, it freaks out the fiancé.

Favorite Quote: “You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore” by Christopher Columbus.
