Liquid Level Sensor

Automation Products Group, Inc.

The MNU series ultrasonic sensor is designed to operate as a slave device. It is a self-contained sensor that measures distance, level, or volume, with a standard Modbus RTU protocol (RS-485) output. Available in sensing ranges from 4 inches to 40 ft, the MNU is robust yet affordable for reliable readings with high accuracy (+/-0.25% of detected range) and resolution (0.1 in. or 2.5 mm). It is a good fit for liquid level measurement applications and with its low current draw, it can be used in remote locations where power conservation with solar panels and batteries is critical.

Signal Conditioner

Meggitt Sensing Systems

Endevco model 123 is a low-cost, microprocessor-controlled, three-channel, PE (charge mode)/IEPE (voltage mode), bench-top signal conditioner. It has a flexible setup and wide bandwidth to 230 kHz (+/-5%). An integral 0, 4 or 10 mA per channel selectable current source is utilized with IEPE sensors. The device features a front-panel user interface that allows the programming of input sensitivity and output sensitivity to calculate amplifier gain. Gain settings can also be entered directly on a per-channel basis. BNC output connectors allow for easy hookup to readout and recording instrumentation. Optional plug-in, 4-pole Butterworth, high-pass and low-pass filter modules are available.

Bus Node for Pneumatic Valve Terminals

Festo Corp.

The new CTEU bus node makes it easy to add Fieldbus connectivity to pneumatic valve terminals at costs no higher than those for multi-pin solutions, which reduces installation and engineering costs. The bus node opens up to DeviceNet, CANopen, EtherCat, Profibus, and more to multiple Festo valve terminal models, including MPA-L, VTUB, CPV, VTUG, and VTOC. It supports inputs and outputs, is independent of valve terminal size, is easy to replace and upgrade, has separate supply and load voltage for safety applications, and meets Ingress Protection Ratings IP65 and IP67.

Torque Testers

Mark-10 Corp.

The Series TT02 torque tool testers are designed for accurate and reliable verification of applied torque values derived from torque screwdrivers, wrenches, and other small hand tools used on the factory floor and in other production environments. The testers capture peak torque values in both measurement directions at a rapid sampling rate of 7,000 Hz with +/-0.3% full-scale accuracy. It also calculates first and second peaks for the measurement verification of click-type tools. The universal 3/8” square receptacle accepts common bits and attachments. A range of features include USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo, and Analog outputs; automatic data output/zeroing/data storage upon tool slip or click; memory storage for up to 1,000 readings; and pass/fail indicators and outputs.
