Hampton Rubber Company Celebrates 70 Years of Service

HAMPTON, VA –June 2025– Hampton Rubber Company is pleased to announce the  celebration of its 70th anniversary in 2025. Established in 1955 by Joseph Tannen, the  company has been a longstanding provider of hose, gasket, and fluid handling solutions to  customers across the United States. The company was purchased in 1979 by Rolf Czerlinsky  and Norm Schnell and it was their commitment and vision that allowed for the tremendous  growth and success the company has experienced over the last four decades.

On January 2, 1999, Hampton Rubber became the first company to be acquired by what is now  Singer Industrial. This milestone marked the beginning of a strategic relationship that has  supported the company’s continued growth while maintaining its commitment to quality  service and regional industry support.

Hampton Rubber serves both commercial and military markets from its state-of-the-art  facilities in Hampton and Norfolk, Virginia, specializing in high-quality assemblies and sealing  products for critical fluid systems.

As part of the Singer Industrial group, Hampton Rubber continues to expand its reach and  capabilities while remaining rooted in its original mission: to deliver dependable products and  responsive service to every customer.
