Third Place Metal dinosaurs Scrap metal is trucked in and off-loaded using an end dump trailer. Bigger pieces are cut by a CAT 330 excavator with shears attachment then sorted and piled high by a Hitachi 450 excavator with claw attachment at Rumetco, a recycling plant in Wilmington, CA. None of this would be possible if not for the power of hydraulics. Submitted by Andy Zepeda, CFPCC
