Assembly Trade Show: Smart Vacuum Technology with Utility Value

At Assembly 2017 in Rosemont, IL, Oct. 24-26, Schmalz will unveil a new app that allows all NFC-capable Smart Field Devices from Schmalz to be read and written to, obviating the need for display and input modules on gripper systems. Schmalz will also be presenting a variety of new suction cups–some for very uneven workpieces, some for dynamic handling of cardboard and rigid packaging, as well as a high-speed suction cup with demands for highest holding and shear forces for handling of sheet metal and car body parts.  The other elements of the exhibition portfolio will include the JumboFlex series of vacuum lifters for carrying loads up to 50 kg.
