Atos SpA Acquires North American Master Distributor

Atos SpA acquired full ownership of Fluid Power Associates, Inc., an importation, distribution, and repair center for electro-hydraulic components in which it held a minority stake. The name of the newly restructured company will be Atos North America. The purchase will allow the Italian hydraulics manufacturer to better operate in the North American market by providing a larger local stock, enhanced technical support, and better customer service. The existing team of regional sales managers at Atos throughout North America will join the newly formed company. Fluid Power Associates Inc. was founded in 2002 as a joint venture between Atos SpA and ten North American hydraulics distributors.
