Aventics Acquires Vector Horizon Technology

Aventics, Lexington, Ky., acquired Vector Horizon Technology LLC (VHTek) based in Bowling Green, Ky., in order to support further development of the commercial vehicle sector. VHTek manages the design, research, development, and prototyping of products and applications around electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic actuation, including air valves [such as Exhaust Gas Recirculation (ERG) valves], exhaust flap valves, and backpressure valves mainly for application in medium and large engines. CEO Jon Bigley is now part of the Avenics organization and has taken over the role of global sector head commercial vehicles.
