FPDA, ISD Joint Industry Summit Announces Joint Business Meeting and Panel

The 2017 FPDA Motion and Control Network (FPDA) and the International Sealing Distribution Association (ISD) Joint Industry Summit introduces a Joint FPDA/ISD Business Meeting featuring a panel of industry leaders discussing NAW and IBM’s 2017 trend report, “Facing the Forces of Change®: Navigating the Seas of Disruption.”

A Harvard Business Review Analytic Services Report, sponsored by IBM, identified: “A wave of disruption is threatening businesses around the world, as new entrants with structural cost advantages and a ‘digital first’ culture spring up in a wide range of industries.” To address these seismic shifts, Mark Yourek, IBM distributor expert, is facilitating a panel of fluid power and sealing distribution leaders, answering pressing questions on industry disruption on Tuesday morning, September 26, at the Joint Industry Summit. NAW’s and IBM’s cutting-edge research addresses digital first, as well as many other challenges distributors face in today’s challenging marketplace: tightening margins, fluctuating customer demands, economy uncertainty, and much more. Attendees will learn what steps distributors must take to stay ahead of change and which disruptors are causing distributors to completely rethink their business approach.
