HAWE Holding, recently signed a contract for the acquisition of business units of the Fritz Schur Technical Group.

In the deal, HAWE Hydraulik acquires Fritz Schur Energy and Fritz Schur Teknik, based in Denmark.

In 2021, the two business units generated sales of € 50 million euros with 112 employees.

This step opens up an ideal expansion of HAWE Hydraulik’s existing product portfolio for wind turbines and strengthens it as a system provider in this market. At the same time, HAWE will have a direct presence in Denmark as a company.

HAWE Hydraulik takes over all activities and employees at the existing locations. The customers of HAWE Hydraulik and the former Fritz Schur Energy or Fritz Schur Teknik benefit from the joint competence, the global sales and service network, and the significantly expanded product range.

After 20 years of steady growth in the renewable energies business unit, this acquisition is an important strategic step for the HAWE Group in strengthening its market position as an innovative partner for hydraulic drives and mechatronic controls in plants for generating energy from wind, sun and water.
