New Mini-MicroTube Siphon Provides High Temperature Instrument Protection for Limited Space Installations

September 29, 2023, Stratford, CT. Ashcroft is excited to introduce its new 2098 Mini-MicroTubeTM Siphon. This product is designed to keep pressure instruments safe from high temperature processes. The mini siphon can contain up to 3,000 psi of pressure and reduce temperatures as high as 600°F, depending on pressure input. The decreased internal capacity of this product enables more effective heat dispersion. It’s ideal for use with gauges, switches, transducers and diaphragm seals.

“Since we launched our 2198 MicroTubeTM Siphon in 2018, the response validated the need for a unique solution to protect pressure instruments from elevated temperatures. The popularity of that product created a high demand for a similar option that could be used for smaller space installations. The Mini-MicroTubeTMSiphon is our solution to that industry challenge,” stated Paul Francoletti, Sr. Product Manager at Ashcroft.

The 2098 features 316L stainless steel construction and a stem mount process connection to ensure compatibility with different installation requirements. It is ideal for chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper, and power applications.
