NFPA Launches Member Internship Program

In an effort to connect talented students to the fluid power industry, the National Fluid Power Association is launching internship and co-op programs with NFPA-member companies.

NFPA offers member companies that apply information on quality candidates for open positions. The information is collected by NFPA staff in the form of applications and resumes from students interested in fluid power. If a member company hires a student from this pool of candidates, the company receives $5,000 from NFPA to help cover costs.

The program helps member companies find qualified candidates who are interested in fluid power while also helping students connect directly to fluid power internships, co-ops, and full-time jobs.

To be eligible, a company must be an NFPA member and have a quality, fluid power internship or co-op program in place. Awards are paid directly to the company. Companies must apply for the awards, and the money is awarded on a first come, first served basis.

There is no application deadline. NFPA will continue to accept member applications until the budgeted funds are depleted for the year.
