Norstat Inc. recently expanded its lines of industrial connectors and enclosures.
Automotive and Metripack Connectors
Norstat’s line of industrial connectors now includes automotive and metripack connectors as well as a full line of fully customizable specialty connectors.
The automotive and metripack connectors are now available as a complete molded cable assembly, eliminating the need for time-consuming hand wiring. They can withstand harsh environmental conditions, making them ideal for automotive, industrial, agriculture or construction applications.
The specialty connector line can be customized in a multitude of configurations to include various valve connector types, including DIN EN1175301-803 Form A, B, or C, M8 and M12 connectors, Deutsch-type automotive connectors, or any combination to suit a customer’s needs. Multihead connectors range in size from 2 to 16 connectors. A protection class rating of IP67 make these connectors perfect for even the most demanding applications.
Multi-Box Enclosures
Norstat recently introduced a new line of enclosure solutions for the industrial marketplace from Multi-Box GmbH.
This family of enclosures are available in either plastic, aluminum, or explosion-proof versions. Standard enclosures are available in a multitude of colors and are manufactured from polyester, UV-resistant polycarbonate or ABS, as well as polystyrene and Noryl with other specific materials (for special applications) available upon request. Standard aluminum enclosures are manufactured with aluminum die casting or gravity casting and are finished with a polyester-based powder paint that has been tested by Multi-Box GmbH for durability with a 1,000-hour salt spray test. Also available are ex-enclosures, which are used when explosive concentrations of gases, vapors, or dust create a potentially hazardous application.
Plastic boxes carry a protection rating of IP20 to IP65, IP43 to IP66 for aluminum, and IP66 for all explosion-proof versions. These boxes come in a multitude of sizes to fit most any application as well as custom designs to accommodate customer needs.
