PIRTEK USA, a global on-site and retail hydraulic and industrial hose service provider, recently opened its first location in Puerto Rico and a new franchise in Columbus, Ohio.
The franchise in San Juan will focus on providing 24/7 on-site service to the area’s hydraulic and industrial businesses. It is owned and operated by Wendelyn Cortes and Jose Zayas, who have worked with waste management companies in construction. PIRTEK proved to be a great fit for them, especially because of all the repairs still needed in the Puerto Rico area after Hurricane Maria’s destruction in 2017.
A new location also recently opened in Columbus, Ohio. The new business is located in Franklin County and will focus on providing 24/7 on-site service to the area’s hydraulic and industrial based businesses. The franchise is owned and operated by Ed and Suzanne Cushing, who are not new to the brand. Ed began working with the business in October of 2001 after serving in the U.S. Air Force, starting in an entry-level position and working his way up to operations manager, general manager, and now franchise owner.
The San Juan location aims to implement complete professional hydraulic and industrial hose services in both retail and on-site service forms. The Columbus location is a fully mobile capacity via on-site service.
PIRTEK prides itself on being able to fill customers’ needs quickly and efficiently, having the widest variety of unique products and parts to keep essential projects operating. Their quick turnaround time is also credited to the 24/7 on-site service it offers to hydraulic and industrial based businesses, often enabling customers to be up and running again quickly, minimizing equipment downtime.
