Valtorc Stainless-Steel 3-Way Butterfly Valve Available

Valtorc International recently released the series 1800 3-way automated butterfly valve is available with pneumatic or electric actuation. Valtorc calls it the first-ever 316 stainless-steel 3-way butterfly valve assembly.

The valve is rated at 100 PSI pressure differential in the closed position. It is used in applications and products such as heating and air conditioning, waste water and water treatment, food and beverage, and paper and pulp.

The actuation type is either nonspring return, spring return or double acting. The body contains epoxy-coated iron and stainless steel. Its stem design uses a double D shaft connection for valves of 2 inches to 30 inches. Its mounting bonnet conforms to ISO 5211 for the mounting of actuators, handles and gear operators. Its one-piece shaft maintains disc position. A resilient seat surface eliminates the need for gaskets on flanges. A connection-secure pin enables a vibration-free connection between the shaft and the disc. A phenolic-backed unidirectional secured seat is field replaceable and blow-out proof. A smooth-finished disc edge provides a superior seal, reduces valve torque and provides bubble-tight shutoff.
