Viking Pump Announces Lab Expansion

Viking Pump recently invested USD $1.75 million to expand its full-service research and testing laboratory in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The lab is key to effectively developing new products, as well as ensuring that finished goods quality of existing products meet strict regulatory requirements and maintain customer satisfaction. The remodel included the addition of 3,800 ft2, and the original 1,600 ft2 was renovated to house a 300-hp Dynamometer, two 50-hp Dynamometers, a Distek Data collection of software for 5 Dynamometers, two 5,600-gallon tanks of testing oil, and two 5-ton overhead cranes.
