VS 11: Miniature Vacuum Switch for Narrow Spaces

Norstat, Inc. now offers the VS 11, a miniature Vacuum Switch with potentiometer that is designed to fit in even the tightest installation spaces. 

 The VS 11 from MP Sensor is a miniature vacuum switch which has been specifically designed to be used in applications where installation space is at a minimum. This extremely light switch is 360° rotatable and utilizes LEDs for operational status. Additionally, the switching points of the VS 11 can be adjusted on site using a potentiometer. The fluid connection is available with M5 thread or pipe connection while the electrical connection can use a M8 connector or a permanently connected cable with an open wire end.

The VS 11 utilizes a robust plastic PC housing with a brass-nickel connection and can be utilized with multiple mediums including filtered, dry or oiled air or other non-corrosive gasses. Operating voltage is 9 … 30 VDC with short circuit and reverse polarity protection.  Output function is NO ; NC and output signal is 1x PNP ( NPN on request ). The VS11 has a measuring range from -14.5 … 0 Psi and  -14.5 … 14.5 Psi. It can operate in temperatures from -10° to +60° C and carries a protection rating of IP 40.
