Canfield Connector Product Expansion Provides 4-Pin Capability to Popular GT Series

Youngstown, OH — Canfield Connector, a manufacturer of highly engineered connectivity and sensing solutions, expands its offering of its GatorMate line of products. With their 2-, 3-, and now 4-pin GT Series of connectors, Canfield is able to provide rugged connectors that are both fully molded and customizable.

GT Series connectors are designed to eliminate the need to purchase expensive crimping tools while reducing labor required to assemble former field-wire versions. With the variety of wiring styles and lengths, the GT Series is engineered to provide the highest level of versatility and durability available.

Additionally, the rugged GT Series is an all-in-one molded connector assembly proven to work in the harshest environments with an IP67 rating resistant to dust, vibration, shock, and moisture. Compact and over molded, the GT series is built to enhance connection performance and ensure that high stress or vibration will not cause unintentional disconnection.

“Our team at Canfield saw a need to bring a 4-pin solution to market, so it was our priority to make that available to our loyal customers,” said Todd Harmon, vice president of Canfield Industries. “We keep hearing feedback that the durable nature of our GT Series is saving our customers time and money, so we are excited to continue expanding this offering to bring a greater impact for OEMs internationally.”

Each 2- ,3-, and 4- pin GT Connector can be highly customized to include various media compatibility or high-flex, special use, or high-temperature cable. An optional LED indicator light and MOV or diode surge protection are also available.

The interconnection properties of this design lend themselves to mobile applications such as:

  • Mobile equipment
  • Heavy machinery and commercial vehicles
  • Industrial environments such as manufacturing and automation
  • Agricultural equipment
  • Hydraulic valves

The GT Series is designed and manufactured to ISO 9001:2015 standards in Youngstown, Ohio. Each device passes through a rigorous and extensive testing process to ensure reliable performance.
