Continental Hydraulics and Hydreco Merge North American Operations

Continental Hydraulics has acquired Hydreco Hydraulics through a stock purchase agreement.

The two companies merged North American operations effective Jan. 1. Both are members of the Duplomatic Motion Solutions Group, headquartered in Parabiago, Italy, near Milan. Continental Hydraulics remain Duplomatic’s only active corporation in North America, while Hydreco becomes a division of Continental.

Both companies will remain in their current locations. Continental, which focuses on the industrial market, is headquartered in Shakopee, Minnesota. Hydreco, a British company focusing on the mobile market, has its U.S. headquarters in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The customer service teams of both companies will work interactively and gradually be interchangeable, according to a press release.
