Fortress Interlocks Acquires Product Ranges of Fluidsentry

British company Fortress Interlocks, which provides machinery safety products, recently entered the fluid power market with the acquisition of the product ranges of Australian company Fluidsentry.

The product offerings will be relaunched as Fortress Fluidsentry. The range of safety monitored valves and pressure sensors provide a high level of safety in fluid power applications, up to and including PLe, SIL 3 and Category 4 requirements, the company said in a press release.

Fortress Interlocks has a U.S. sales team and an office in Erlanger, Kentucky. Products under the Fortress Fluidsentry brand will be available worldwide, the company said.
