High Pressure Equipment, a subsidiary of Graco, recently introduced an air driven gas booster system mounted in a hand cart for easy portability.
HiP’s new portable gas booster system features a double acting, double head gas booster with max. output of 15,000 psi (1,034 bar) mounted within a square tubular frame hand cart and supplied complete with air filter, air pressure regulator with pressure gauge, and air shut off valve.
This new portable gas booster system is ideal for a range of applications including charging accumulators, inflating high-pressure tires, charging shock struts from lower-pressure supply sources, transferring gas from a supply cylinder to another container, and actuating air chucks in machine tools.
The portable system includes an air-driven Sprague double acting, double head gas booster (model GBD-D75) capable of 15,000 psi (1,034 bar) max. output pressure with 100 psi (7 bar) air drive supply. Air controls include a filter, regulator, on/off valve, air drive pressure gauge, and air safety valve. Additional system specs are a gas inlet with a 7-micron T filter, inlet gas pressure gauge, a high-pressure vent valve, a high-pressure booster outlet isolation valve, a 200-14,500 psi (14-1,000 bar) outlet high-pressure regulator, a 1,450 psi (100 bar) outlet isolation valve, a 10-1,450 psi (0.7-100 bar) outlet low-pressure regulator, a check valve to protect the low-pressure regulator from high pressure, a high-pressure relief valve settable between 10,000-14,500 psi (689-1,000 bar), and a 4-inch diameter outlet pressure gauge.
