The National Fluid Power Association is seeking volunteer judges for the design and specification midway reviews in the Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge.
The midway reviews are set for December and January. They consist of 45-minute webinar presentations with 10 minutes of Q&A from the judges. During the review, students present their initial design and mechanical drawings, illustrating the fluid power control circuits to be created for the vehicle. They also present results from their analysis of fluid flow and expected performance.
To serve as judges, volunteers or their companies must be Pascal Society donors. Judges can evaluate one team or all 18, providing an opportunity to speak directly with each team and offering them valuable feedback for the next stage of their project.
The Pascal Society is the annual giving society of NFPA’s Education and Technology Foundation. For more information, visit www.nfpa.com/home/Pascal-Society/About-the-Pascal-Society.htm.
