OMEGA Engineering Sponsors <i>FIRST</i> Robotics Team

Omega Engineering sponsored the Sim-City robotics team from Simsbury High School at the 4-day FIRST Robotics National Championship in St. Louis, Mo., from April 26-29, 2017. The team finished 19th out of 68 teams in its division after losing in the semifinals because its Alliance Captain robot suffered a drivetrain malfunction. This forces the team to rely on a substitute alliance partner it hadn’t worked with before.
