Pepperl+Fuchs will showcase its automation, robotics, vision, and motion control products and solutions at the Automate trade show, June 6-9 in Detroit.
Here’s a look at some of the products highlighted at the Pepperl+Fuchs booth.
The PXV positioning system’s reliability for linear absolute positioning makes it suitable for a variety of different applications, such as positioning of monorail conveyors in a production line, stacker cranes in material handling, rotary tables, or elevators and wind turbines. In addition to absolute positioning, the PGV positioning system provides all the data needed for reliable control of AGVs. By transmitting Y position and angle, track deviations can be continuously corrected.
The universal vision sensors offer an extensive and flexibly combinable vision tool set in a single camera – without additional licensing costs. The vision tools can be individually combined into one or more tasks, depending on the application requirements. In this way, the VOS sensors also master particularly demanding detection tasks without a vision system.
When integrated into AGVs, the R2300 3-D LiDAR sensor enables object tracking, follow-me, and reliable collision avoidance. The photoelectric sensor monitors the area in front of the vehicle – from the ground to a person’s legs. These serve as reference points to detect the person’s direction of movement and follow them at a defined distance.
ICE2 (EtherNet/IP) and ICE3 (PROFINET) series IO-Link masters provide the most versatile industrial IO-Link master solutions supporting the industry’s leading protocols, including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and MODBUS TCP. The modules feature a full web-based configuration approach without the need for additional software or a higher-level PLC.
