PIRTEK Continues Expansion in Michigan

PIRTEK is continuing to expand its presence in Michigan with a new location in Grand Rapids. Franchise owner Oliver Romano is also a shareholder in four other Michigan locations, all in metro Detroit: Madison Heights, Sterling Heights, Westland, and Wixom. The Grand Rapids location is a Tier 2 franchise, part of a mobile-only program rolled out by the company in 2016. Under the Tier 2 model, a franchise can lease two vehicles and keep inventory in a storage facility. The new program allows for ownership at a lower point of entry than the traditional Tier 1 model, which includes a service and supply center, along with the mobile service vehicles. Romano plans to develop the Tier 2 into a full Tier 1 location in less than two years.
