PIRTEK Opens New Franchises

PIRTEK USA, a provider of hydraulic and industrial hose repair services, recently opened new franchises in Alabama and Wisconsin.

PIRTEK’s new location in Racine, Wisconsin, marks the company’s 100th U.S. franchise. The location on the shores of Lake Michigan, is owners Tom and Julie Fechter’s second PIRTEK franchise. It will serve the busy shipping companies that operate around the Great Lakes, among other businesses. PIRTEK Racine opened as a Tier One business under the franchise structure, which requires a franchisee to have a full service and supply center staffed with six team members and at least two mobile service vehicles.

PIRTEK Montgomery is the company’s third franchise in Alabama. Owners Larry and Traci Love, with 34 years of experience in hydraulics, will operate their business under the company’s Tier Two program. This option is centered around on-site mobile service. Under Tier Two, a franchisee stores inventory in a small warehouse or storage facility and leases two or more vehicles.
