RG Group Announces Partnership with Seegrid

RG Group, headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, recently announced a certified integration partnership with Seegrid, a provider of connected autonomous mobile robots for material handling.

With millions of production miles driven and enterprise software solutions that maximize material flow efficiencies, Seegrid’s technology is a continuation of breakthrough robotics pioneered by world-renowned roboticist Hans Moravec, Seegrid’s chief scientist.

Seegrid Palion autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) use multidimensional views for agile navigation, movement, and decision-making. Equipped with proprietary technology, Palion AMRs fuse data from cameras, LiDAR, and machine-learning models with 3D computer vision systems to perform safely alongside humans. Users can train and manage the robots themselves in-house, providing the highest ROI and continuous improvement without limits.

Seegrid’s solutions include AMRs, fleet management software, analytics software, and automation expertise. Their suite of AMRs includes the pallet truck, tow tractor, and lift, which have the capabilities of moving up to 10,000 pounds at a speed of 4 mph in applications such as end-of-line, long haul, parts-to-line, and many more.

RG Group provides motion control and fluid handling products through the application of technology in the robotics, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, and process markets.
