Trelleborg Facilities Gain IATF Certification

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions gains International Automotive Task Force (IATF) certification to perform subassembly work for automotive manufacturing customers and Tier 1 suppliers at its ServicePLUS centers located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin; Vancouver, Washington, Ontario, California, and its logistics center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

IATF 16949:2016 is the international standard for automotive quality management systems. It emphasizes the development of a process-oriented quality management system that provides for continual improvement, defect prevention, and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

The four newly certified sites join 17 other Trelleborg IATF-certified ServicePLUS and manufacturing locations in the Americas and Europe. With the acquisition of Minnesota Rubber & Plastics, Trelleborg adds five additional IATF-certified facilities in North America and China for a total of 26 IATF certified locations.
