Swiss company Wandfluh Holding AG announced a new CEO and a new vice president to oversee North American operations.
Gary Gotting was named president and CEO of Wandfluh of America effective Oct. 1. Craig Hanks became vice president of operations on Sept. 15.
Gotting succeeds Mike Lindamood, who led the company since 2016. Gotting joined Wandfluh US in January 2020 as VP of product management. Before that, his 37-year fluid power career saw him undertake roles of ever-increasing global responsibility for major manufacturers, including Denison Hydraulics, Parker Hannifin, Eaton Hydraulics, and Sun Hydraulics. Gotting is a graduate of Brighton College of Technology in England and holds higher education certificates in electronics and communications engineering.
Prior to joining Wandfluh in January 2020, Hanks most recently was the new product introduction manager for Linde Hydraulics. He worked in various leadership roles in the fluid power industry for over 28 years. Hanks served as technical services manager for Carolina Fluid Components and as general manager for Hydradyne Hydraulics. He worked in various roles with Hawe Hydraulics and Parker Hannifin Hydraulics. He holds an executive MBA from Queens University’s McColl Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering technology from the University of North Carolina. Hanks is a certified fluid power specialist.
