Webtec Offers Free Video Series

Webtec, a British company that manufactures hydraulic components and test equipment, has released a series of training videos covering fundamentals in hydraulics and fluid power aimed at engineers at all levels.

Key topics covered in the series include selecting a flow control valve, selecting manual directional control valves, and controlling fluid contamination.

Future planned videos will look at hydraulic system maintenance and troubleshooting.

The series is presented by Steve Skinner. With over 40 years’ experience in the hydraulic and fluid power industry, Skinner is an advisory member of the National Fluid Power Centre and has been a member of several British Fluid Power Association committees. He previously worked with Webtec on “An Introduction to Practical Hydraulic System Maintenance,” a guide for fluid power technicians coauthored with Martin Cuthbert, Webtec’s managing director. The guide educates technicians and engineers new to hydraulic fluid power maintenance.
