nfpa fpirc

FPIRC, co-sponsored by the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) and the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP), is the premier conference for fluid power industry and academic research in North America. It will take place October 14-16, 2015 at the Radisson Blu in Chicago, Ill.

Conference participants include industry practitioners and leaders, government representatives, and academic fluid power researchers and students from around the world. Recommended attendees are fluid power engineers and technical leaders, human resource professionals, CTOs, and marketing personnel.

This year’s FPIRC offers many unique opportunities for attendees:

  • Participation in a program of over 40 fluid power technical posters and presentations, including keynote talks on the critical integration of industry and academia in technology and workforce
  • One-on-one meetings with students experienced in fluid power research and application in corporate student speed meeting on Thursday, October 15
  • Engagement with researchers, students, and members of industry during the corporate kiosk reception on Wednesday, October 14 (be sure to register for your kiosk during conference registration)
  • Optional tour of Argonne National Laboratory and/or CNH Industrial

Room reservations at the Radisson Blu are also open. Since FPIRC is held in conjunction with the biennial ASME/Bath Symposium on Fluid Power & Motion Control (also at the Radisson Blu, October 12-14, 2015), one room block has been reserved for both conferences. To make your hotel reservations, call the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago at (800) 333-3333 and ask for the $259 group rate reserved for ASME.

The conference is expected to bring together hundreds of fluid power industry professionals, academic leaders, and students. Industry attendees can show support for fluid power education and research while raising company visibility with this important audience through various sponsorship opportunities. Contact Eric Lanke at 414-778-3351 or elanke@nfpa.com to inquire about sponsorship availability.
