AEM Develops Compliance Database

From the Association of Equipment Manufacturers

As the global marketplace continues to grow and evolve, the regulatory and compliance issues that accompany these changes continue to proliferate at an accelerated rate. For AEM members attempting to navigate this world, keeping up with the rate of change becomes an issue to solve all on its own.

To help meet this challenge, the AEM Safety & Product Leadership Department has recently built a database designed to store and organize the multitude of regulations, laws, standards, legal requirements, and other compliance issues that our members frequently consider when participating in the global marketplace.

The AEM Compliance Database is designed to categorize the collective compliance information our department gathers through our various product and technical committee meetings. Our department will be working with our committee members over the next year, to gather and organize all our data for inclusion in the database structure.

The increased organization this platform provides will allow AEM to more efficiently monitor key regulatory and standard developments related to our sectors. Ultimately, the AEM Compliance Database will help our department see the global compliance environment with increased vision and clarity.
