Canfield and Spartan Expand Product Lines

Canfield Industries recently added to the product lines of its Canfield Connector and Spartan Scientific brands.

Series 6700 diaphragm valve

Spartan Scientific, a manufacturer of fluid and pneumatic automation components, released a newly engineered addition to its solenoid valve lineup.

Manufactured in an all-brass form, the Series 6700 provides superior flow rate for typical applications of two-way control of inert gasses, water, and compatible fluids. The Series 6700 diaphragm valve comes in 3/4- and 1-inch NPT port configurations to meet system requirements. Offered with FKM seals as standard, this valve will accommodate a large percentage of media requirements.

At 120 psi (8 bar), the Series 6700 delivers a reliable maximum flow rate of 53.3 gpm (202 lpm). In order to provide a comprehensive solution for a variety of systems, the Series 6700 not only provides multiple port sizes but also different options for coils and types. Resilient and customizable, this latest offering from Spartan Scientific provides superior flow control for a variety of systems.

GatorMate GT Series

Canfield Connector recently expanded its GatorMate line of products.

The two-, three-, and four-pin GT Series of connectors, sometimes used in hydraulic valves, are fully molded and customizable. GT Series connectors are designed to eliminate the need to purchase expensive crimping tools while reducing labor required to assemble former field-wire versions. With the variety of wiring styles and lengths, the GT Series is engineered to provide the highest level of versatility and durability available.

Additionally, the rugged GT Series is an all-in-one molded connector assembly proven to work in the harshest environments, with an IP67 rating resistant to dust, vibration, shock, and moisture. Compact and overmolded, the GT series is built to enhance connection performance and ensure that high stress or vibration will not cause unintentional disconnection.

Each two-, three-, and four-pin GT Connector can be customized to include various media compatibility or high-flex, special-use, or high-temperature cable. An optional LED indicator light and MOV or diode surge protection are also available. The GT Series is designed and manufactured to ISO 9001:2015 standards.

The interconnection properties of this design lend themselves to mobile applications such as:

  • Mobile equipment.
  • Heavy machinery and commercial vehicles.
  • Industrial environments such as manufacturing and automation.
  • Agricultural equipment.
  • Hydraulic valves.
