Cynthia Esher Retires from MCAA

The Measurement, Control & Automation Association (MCAA) announced the retirement of Cynthia Esher on June 30, 2018, after 40 years of service. Esher has been involved with the MCAA or its predecessor organization, the Scientific Apparatus Makers Association, since 1978, and was named president of the MCAA after the organization’s name change in 1994. Esher was instrumental in moving the MCAA away from writing standards and changing the dues structure, which doubled the size of membership for the organization during her tenure. Teresa Sebring has succeeded her as MCAA president.
