Fluid Power Grant Awarded to Middle School

River Road Middle School in North Carolina was awarded a matching grant for technology integration by Goldenrod Research Corp. Through the grant, high-tech robotics and fluid power (hydraulic/pneumatic) equipment will be installed to enhance student learning. The grant is for $9,850 with River Road matching those funds for the purchase of the equipment and training. The total grant value for equipment, training, and instructional resources is $19,700. River Road Middle School was chosen for the award based on its written application, where faculty and administration shared their belief in the importance of technology for students.
