The International Fluid Power Exposition has selected Marcia Klein, treasurer at Casappa Corp., of Parma, Italy, as chair for the 2023 IFPE show in Las Vegas.
“It really is an honor to lead efforts to develop the next edition of the fluid power industry’s most important trade show, IFPE,” Klein said from her office at Casappa’s suburban Chicago facility. “I’ve been involved in this industry for more than twenty years, and nothing compares to the information, education, and opportunity that IFPE provides to our industry.”
Additionally, IFPE has named Bob Pettit, certified fluid power specialist and North American CEO of HAWE Hydraulik in Munich, Germany, as co-chair.
“This is something I am both proud and humbled to do for our industry,” Pettit said. “IFPE is so important to the fluid power world that being offered this opportunity to guide the 2023 show is something I couldn’t pass up.”
“Marcia and Bob have such a great experience set to lead IFPE 2023,” said IFPE show director John Rozum. “From Marcia’s decades of leadership at Casappa, and Bob having done quite possibly every job there is in the fluid power industry, the breadth of knowledge IFPE has at its helm is going to make the 2023 show better than it has ever been.”
“IFPE provides a dynamic global resource for industry professionals to keep up with the latest advances and interact with the fluid power community,” said Eric Lanke, president and CEO of the National Fluid Power Association, which co-owns the show. “Both Marcia and Bob bring such a depth of knowledge about the fluid power world to the IFPE committee, I can’t wait to get to Vegas for the next show.”
IFPE, which co-locates with the construction industry’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG trade show, is the leading North American exhibition bringing together the fluid power, power transmission, and motion control industries. IFPE will be held March 14-18, 2023, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
