P-Core: Pressure and Vacuum Sensor

Norstat has added another product, The P-CORE, to their already impressive line of Pressure and Vacuum Sensors. 

The P-CORE is one of the smallest Pressure and Vacuum Sensors that utilizes a ceramic measuring cell. This compact sensor is extremely robust and designed for continuous industrial use with an expected lifetime of 100 million load changes or 2336 years of continuous operation. The P-CORE comes with 2 switching outputs and an IO-Link interface giving the sensor maximum functionality and flexibility for the user.

The housing is made of solid stainless steel, utilizes a M12 x1 4 pole electrical connection and operates on 9-30 VDC. It can operate using all group 2 media including steam. The P-CORE has multiple versions available with pressure ranges from -14.5 Psi to 8700 Psi. Thanks to it’s stainless steel housing it has a protection rating of IP65 / IP67 / IP68 and an operating range from -25° C to +85° C.
