Safety Grippers

In an emergency shut-off event, the EGN Safety gripping unit goes into a safety-speed or safe-stop mode, depending on the activated protection zone. When the protection zone is released, the gripper switches back to the regular operating mode without the need to restart. Gripping force, speed, and finger position can be flexibly controlled during the handling process. The gripper includes multi-toothed guidance, is controlled with standard connector technology with Profibus or CAN bus, and includes a safety module to use the SLS, SOS, and STO certified functions.
