Schaevitz Releases Miniature Copper Pad Thermocouple

Harold G. Schaevitz Industries recently expanded its sensor products with a new miniature surface-mounted thermocouple for applications requiring a temperature sensor to be installed in confined spaces.

The easy-to-install CPTC series copper pad surface thermocouple sensor was designed for research & development, testing applications, manufacturing engineering, and production environments. It has a miniature 2.1mm x 2.4mm pad that can be bonded to a surface using an epoxy resin or cyanoacrylate-based glue.

Available as a type E, J, K or T, thermocouple, the CPTC copper pad surface thermocouple sensor has a temperature range of -45°C to 162°C (-50°F to 325°F) and an accuracy greater of +/- 0.4% of reading or +/- 1.1°C (special limits of error).
