Schroeder Marks 75 Years in Business

Schroeder Industries, a provider of filtration products and systems, is celebrating 75 years in business.

Founded in April 1946, the world of hydraulics looked a lot different for the founders of Schroeder Industries. What started as an agent and distributor of electrical apparatuses to the coal-mining industry, the Schroeder Brothers Corporation quickly evolved into a leading firm in the development and production of mining and fluid conditioning and diagnostic equipment.

The Schroeder Brothers grew to Schroeder Industries and, with its years of expertise, quickly garnered the attention as a recognized brand for high-quality mining equipment and filtration and industry knowledge, winning contracts with some of the largest OEM and MRO operations in the country.

A grandson, Gus Schroeder Jr., continues to provide the vision of his grandfather, great uncles, and father.

Schroeder Industries plans a year-long celebration that includes updated branding and company-wide events. The company is headquartered in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania, and has a plant in Cumberland, Maryland.
