Spartan Scientific’s New 2-Way Brass Valve Offers Advantages of High Flow, Precise Control, Compact Size

Spartan Scientific, a leading manufacturer of industrial solenoid valves, accessories and related fluid power products, recently introduced its high-flow Series 3516, a two-way, internal-pilot operated solenoid valve.

The compact-size and low-lead brass body is compatible with transferring inert gases, water and compatible fluids at higher volumes and pressures than other valves in its class. Its 35-gallon-per-minute flow rate can be used for a wide range of applications including water treatment, sanitation, or filtration. It also provides a safe solution to potable water applications by providing the option to include NSF or FDA approved sealing materials.

This rugged and virtually indestructible solenoid valve is designed for reliability and repeatability coupled with a long life and is manufactured according to the International Quality Standard ISO 9001:2015. It also features various port sizes and a nylon-encapsulated electrical interface rated for all standard voltages.

“This product is comparable to other pilot-operated valves on the market, including our 3505 Series, but the 3516 remains unique because of its compact design, enabling it to transfer more liquids at a faster rate,” said Phil Muntean, product expert and engineer at Canfield Industries, parent company of Spartan Scientific. “It’s also one of few designs of its kind that’s approved for drinking water applications.”
