Watson-Marlow Names Operations and Supply Director

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group recently appointed Abdul Butt as operations and supply director, the company announced.

He joins the company with extensive experience in manufacturing and operational excellence, including 20 years at GKN PLC, at Melrose Industries as CEO of one of their divisions, and, in his most recent role, at MPP, where he was COO.

Butt started his career with Ford Motor Company as a technical apprentice and has had success in increasing roles of responsibility and accountability. He holds a first-class engineering degree in manufacturing and management from Loughborough University.

He will join the executive team and report directly to the managing director and be responsible for building a flexible and resilient supply chain that will enable further growth for the company.
