Atex Connectors: Designed for Use in Hazardous Environments

Norstat now carries a full line of ATEX CONNECTORS that are specifically designed for use in potentially hazardous environments including gas, dust, or explosive atmospheres.

These ATEX CONNECTORS have been specifically designed for situations where hazardous applications such as gas, dust, fire, or explosive atmospheres are present making them ideal for use in oil and gas refineries, chemical plants, grain and agricultural processing or storage facilities. The ATEX line is available as DIN valve connectors, M8 circular connectors, or M12 circular connectors which are all field Wireable. All connectors are certified for Equipment Category 2G and 2D as well as Gas Zone 1 and Dust Zone 21.

All DIN Valve ATEX Connectors have a PA66 UL94-V0 housing and are available in forms A, B, and C with 2 or 3 poles and PG7 or PG9 cable glands. Circular connectors are available with PA66 UL94-V0 brass and nickel plated housings and come in 180 or 90 degree configurations. All connectors are offered in a variety of contact types ( male & female ) as well as the number of contacts ( 3, 4, 5, 8 & 12 pole ).
