Connection Technology: M8 & M12 Circular Connectors

Norstat now offers a full line of M8 & M12 Circular Connectors either as a Molded Cable Assemblies or as a Field Wireable units to fit a multitude of industrial connectivity applications.

Both M8 & M12 Circular Connectors are available as field Wireable or as molded cable assemblies with both connectors being offered in either straight 180° or angled 90° versions as well as with male or female contact types. M8 connectors come with 3, 4 or 8 pole contacts while the M12’s come with 3, 4, 5, 8 or 12 pole contacts. The fixing system is via a coupling nut and utilizes an anti-vibration system to assure secure contacts.

Both the M8 and M12 Circular Connectors utilize polyurethane housing material with a PA66 internal core material. Contact material is brass and gold flash and termination is via crimped wires. Coupling nut is brass and nickel plated with stainless steel available upon request. Both versions have a protection rating of IP 67 / IP69K and are also available in EX ( Explosion Proof ) versions for applications where extreme or hazardous applications may be present.
