ControlAir, a manufacturer of pneumatic and electropneumatic control products, recently introduced the Type 1227 and Type 1230 high-flow gas pressure regulators to its gas-regulator product line.
The new regulators are direct-operated, pressure-reducing regulators used with compressed air, natural gas, or other inert gases. Gas pressure regulators help maintain consistent inlet pressure to downstream equipment, allowing for the accurate control of distribution system pressures.
The Type 1227 and Type 1230 are typically used in low- and high-pressure systems in applications such as first-stage farm-tap, regulator-relief valves and high-pressure industrial regulators.
The Type 1227 is available with outlet ranges from 5 psi to 150 psi and can be ordered with a variety of orifice sizes and materials providing application flexibility in the oil and gas industries. The Type 1230 is available with output pressures from 50 psi to 500 psi, making it suitable for use across a range of industries and applications, especially those using regulators in series for controlled pressure reduction across multiple stages.
The Type 1227 is made of LCC steel and features body sizes of 1” or 2” NPT, high-pressure inlet capabilities up to 2000 psig (138 bar), and a maximum outlet pressure up to 500 psig (34.5 bar). Wide output ranges span from 5 psig up to 150 psig. Orifice sizes are 3/32″, 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″.
The Type 1230 offers body sizes of 1” or 2” NPT, inlet pressures up to 1500 psig (103 bar) and control pressures up to 500 psig (34.5 bar). Output ranges span from 27 psig up to 500 psig. Orifice sizes are 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″.
