IFPS 2020 Spring Meeting Recap

A volunteer Board of Directors governs the IFPS. These volunteers are supported by their employers and promote the safe application of fluid power technology through standardization, education, and certification. Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the IFPS recently finished a productive Board of Directors meeting in Tampa, Florida.  In addition to Board and Committee Meetings, the group enjoyed optional activities, including a personalized, team building murder mystery dinner. If any of our meeting attendees are ever looking for new careers, acting could be a way to go!

Highlights of the meeting:

  • Development of training video’s for solving complicated equations
  • Members’ Only Forum launch
  • Updates to the IHM and MHM Certification
  • Development of youth outreach training materials
