NFPA Roadmap Survey Still Open

You have a few weeks left to complete a survey for the National Fluid Power Association’s 2023 Roadmap report.

The survey is open until Dec. 22.

It results in NFPA’s Technology Roadmap for the Fluid Power Industry, scheduled for release in August. The report documents the evolving needs of fluid power’s customer markets, the degree to which fluid power can meet those needs, and the R&D objectives necessary to meet them. NFPA updates the document every two years.

The survey focuses on the business and technology objectives of machine builders in fluid power’s 20 largest markets. The survey results in the Roadmap’s Customer Drivers section, which describes benefits companies wish to provide for buyers and users of their products. Survey takers respond only to questions about the fluid power markets in which they work.

NFPA sees the industry feedback as essential to the project. It invites participants to forward the survey link to other fluid power stakeholders they know.
