Two New Fluid Power Standards Published

Standardization development continues in the field of fluid power systems and components. TC 131 – the technical committee directly responsible for fluid power has 224 published ISO standards to date. There are 49 currently under development. The following ISO standards were published this past month:

Subcommittee 4 – Connectors (couplings)

ISO 6164:2018

Hydraulic fluid power — Four-screw, one-piece square flange connections for use at pressures of 42 MPa, DN 25 to 80

Subcommittee 6 – Contamination control

ISO 11943:2018

Hydraulic fluid power — Online automatic particle-counting systems for liquids — Methods of calibration and validation
