How Did You Celebrate?
Thank you to all who celebrated June 19th – Fluid Power Professionals’ Day. The IFPS received emails from professionals in the industry sharing how they enjoyed the day.
Congratulations to IFPS members James Ade, CFPE, CFPS, Hydraulic Supply Company; Thomas Patterson, CFPSD, CFPS, Hydra-Power Systems, Inc.; and Timothy Niemiec, CFPPS, Kaman Industrial Technologies. These three members were randomly selected to receive an IFPS promotion package including a one-year free membership in honor of the day!
All individuals who submitted pictures of their June 19th activities were entered into the American Express gift card contest. The following individuals were randomly selected by the IFPS to receive a $50 AMEX gift card:

Curtiss-Wright Sprague Products had a Fluid Power Professionals’ Day BBQ.
The Danfoss Systems & Application Engineering team celebrated Fluid Power Professionals’ Day by taking a tour of the Danfoss fluid power labs at Iowa State University. They celebrated getting the team IFPS certified this year by having a lunch prior to the tour.
The gang at JEM Technical in Orono, Minn., celebrating the day! They got together and enjoyed a catered company lunch and talked about their fluid power schooling and experiences.
Kraft Fluid Systems, Inc. had a cookout lunch in honor of the day. Each employee received an insulated tumbler with the company’s logo to keep hydrated, and the tumblers were coded to correspond to prizes.
