Parker Highlights Hydraulic Products at Tire Expo

Parker Hannifin will highlight hydraulic and filtration products at the Tire Technology Expo in Hannover, Germany, May 18-20.

Parker will have two key products on display at its booth: the Service Master CONNECT and the Sentinel.

The Parker Service Master CONNECT is a strong diagnostic measuring device designed to enable access to an array of sensors used in hydraulic applications like those encountered in tire production. The unit has a robust, shock-absorbent design and an IP65 rating that provides comprehensive protection against moisture and dirt.

With a 7-inch illuminated color touch display that enables smooth and intuitive operation, the modular construction allows customized set-ups according to individual measurement and analysis needs. The unit’s multiple connections can compile, store, monitor, and evaluate CAN bus data, and digital or analogue sensor signals for pressure, temperature, volume flow frequencies, rotational speeds, particles, water in oil, volume, and output. Suitable for very complex diagnostic tasks, the Service Master CONNECT can measure and display up to 100 channels, and it can be connected to CAN, CANopen, SAEJ-1939, analogue, digital, frequency, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE.

Parker will also exhibit the Sentinel, an efficient fluid purification and hydraulic protection unit designed to “stand guard” over hydraulic systems and to increase productivity by eliminating moisture in the oil.

The Sentinel has a tough lightweight and portable design with an optional laser detection particle counter. The unit can detect water-contaminated hydraulic oils or transformer fluids and can streamline the dehydration process, maximizing maintenance budgets and boosting productivity while reducing costly, unscheduled downtime.
